The new love we have found is of Standard Poodles. These
amazing dogs aren't just to look pretty (though they do). Standard Poodles
are a very intelligent, majestic breed with an unending amount of love to give
and yes, they are waterfowl retrievers.
My youngest daughter was wanting a dog to stay with her
in her room and I was opposed to another shedding dog in the house, and didn't
want a little "yappy" dog. A friend just happen to bring her Standard
Poodle by. What we learned in those few minutes
peaked our curiosity. Over the next few weeks I did a lot of research
the more I learned the more I liked what I was learning. It just so
happens we found the exact dog we were looking for two days prior to my youngest
daughter's birthday. I picked her up and surprised my daughter with her
for her 11th birthday. Since that time the entire family has fallen in
love with Sparkles, even David who didn't want a "fufu" dog. Don't tell
Sparkles she is a dog she would never believe you. Also don't tell her she isn't
a baby as I am typing this she is in my lap with her head on my shoulder. |
